CONKLIN
Mottled red & black hard rubber crescent filler. (4-7/8"). $375
Excellent condition with one flaw that makes this pen much less expensive than it would otherwise be.
The cap lip had a chip at the bottom which I removed by shortening the cap by about 1/4".
It looks pretty good. You judge. The pen functions perfectly.
Medium flexible medium #2 Conklin Toledo nib. Very smooth

Waterman #7 Red Ripple - Pink nib (5-1/2") $1095
This one has been sold, but keep checking. Another one is expected soon.
The #7 is slightly larger than a 55 and slightly smaller than a 56.
In Waterman's color designation pink signifies flexible fine point.
Correct "pink" nib and pink band (replacement) on the cap.
This pink nib in, in my opinion, a bit finer and more flexible than most pink nibs.
The pen itself is in excellent condition with a complete barrel imprint.

In Waterman's color designation a red nib is "standard configuration for correspondence".
The #5 is smaller than #7 and and has a flared end of the cap.
This pen appears to have been used very little. It has been inked, but it is in essentially new condition.
I did not replace the red cap band. It appears to be in perfect condition as do the white border rings.
The barrel imprint is strong.
It is an extremely smooth writer.
As an added bonus it has a hallmarked 9kt cap band inscribed F.D.W. (for Frank D. Waterman) and 9.375 signifying 9kt gold.

This pen has seen some use, but is in good condtion - no chips or cracks. It is a superb writer with a nice medium flexible nib.
There is a very faint personalization on the barrel - GST - which I have placed toward the scanner, but it is so faint that it
cannot be seen in the pic. This is consistent with the weak (actually, non-existent) barrel imprint.
Despite the nearly invisible personalization and the "weak" barrel imprint this would be a great daily writer.
